Abstract

Obtaining the combustion characteristics, such as the sizes and flame areas of the particles during they are burning, is the key to improve the particles combustion. In this paper, a novel experiment system is designed and established to get the distinct images of the particles and flames during the particles are burning, a software is developed to automatically compute the particles’ sizes and the flame areas.
