Abstract

For ITO-free OLEDs with a high-index layer the outcoupling efficiency was increased by 300% using periodic nanostructuring. Incorporating nanoparticles between the emission layer and the cathode increased the internal quantum efficiency of ITO-OLEDs by 310%.
