Abstract

Conventional lighting technologies, especially based on gas discharge lamps, still have a considerable potential of technical improvements by innovative material structures, intelligent operation principles and new efficient multi-functional controls. In this presentation, some of the latest developments of conventional lighting technologies will be discussed.
