Electrode Engineering for Outcoupling Enhancement in OLEDs

Abstract

A novel electrode structure utilizing the low-index properties of conductive polymers is explored for outcoupling enhancement in OLEDs. Index contrast due to conductive polymer layers makes ITO microstructuring optically meaningful, enabling extraction of waveguided modes.
