Synchronization of Limit Cycles in Nonlinear Passive Fiber Ring Resonators by Cross-Phase Modulation

Abstract

The synchronization of limit cycle states occurring in nonlinear fiber ring resonators by a weak coupling via seeding in different polarizations is shown by numerical simulations, leading to an optical control of the frequency comb.
