A DSP-Based Frequency Offset and Phase Control Method for NMZI-Based DPSK Regenerators

Abstract

A DSP-based frequency offset and phase control method is presented for NMZI-based DPSK regenerators. The method is demonstrated in simulation for a 43 Gb/s DPSK signal and using experimental data for a 40 Gb/s DPSK signal.
