Clustering in Short Time Windows for Nonsymmetrical Demodulation in 16QAM Overlapped WDM Channels

Abstract

We propose an adaptive nonsymmetrical demodulation technique enabling the mitigation of time-varying distortions. The approach is experimentally verified in multichannel coherent 16QAM Nyquist links, with nonlinear effects and overlapped channels.
