Direct Detection Optical Transmission Systems Employing Stokes Vector Kramers Kronig Transceivers

Abstract

We use a Stokes vector receiver to demonstrate polarization multiplexing Kramers Kronig detection signals. The impact of several parameters is discussed. 480-Gb/s capacity is achieved for 80 km of standard single mode fiber transmission.
