Real-Time Implementation of Adaptive MIMO Equalization with Fast Carrier-Phase Tracking

Abstract

Based on FPGA boards, we implemented real-time adaptive MIMO equalization for demodulation of DP-QPSK optical signals. External carrier-phase compensation separated from the MIMO improves carrier-phase tracking performance.
