Abstract

In most phase reconstruction algorithms^1-6, two generalized intensity functions I_c(x,y) and I_s(x,y), shown in Fig. 1, are obtained after some initial processing steps, independently of the specific experimental technique used to obtain the modulated intensity patterns. Generalized intensity with the background intensity subtracted is coded in the levels of gray.
