Bayesian Multiresolution Method for Local Tomography

Abstract

We present a wavelet based multiresolution model for local tomography. Reconstruction model is reduced by discarding fine-scale wavelets outside the region-of-interest (ROI). The approach allows significant model reduction without loss of accuracy in the ROI.
