Complete reflectance function measurement of translucent object using compressive sensing

Abstract

The eight-dimensional reflectance field (RF) function of translucent object is acquired using a framework of compressive sensing. We demonstrate that the proposed method can observe the RF with the half number of measurements required by conventional method.
