Abstract

Many investigations on the optoelectronic materials have been carried out by numerous research groups. However, only a few crystals such as LiNbO3, LiTaO3 and Nd:Y3Al5O12 have been successfully used in industrial applications. Recently, the development of new laser and nonlinear optical crystals has become a focus of considerable interest because of the progress of optoelectronics technologies. We have carried out the investigations focusing on the development of new optoelectronic and photonic materials, using advanced crystal growth techniques. Here, our research and progress in development of optoelectronic materials are introduced to propose one meritorious trend.
