Abstract

This is the first high resolution measurement of the electron energy spectrum from high intensity Above- Threshold Ionization of He and He ion at intensities upto 2.5×1016 W/cm2. The ATI electron energy spectrum from the ionization of He upto an intensity of 7×1015 W/cm2 with both linearly and circularly polarized light was done and compared to the existing models. The disagreements with the models are discussed.
