Self-optimized Metal Coatings for Fiber Plasmonics by Electroless Deposition

Abstract

Observation of the polarization dependent loss spectrum of a tilted fiber Bragg grating during electroless deposition of gold on the fiber allows the process to be stopped exactly when the surface Plasmon resonances are maximized.
