Plasmonic Effects of Ag Nanocube with Silica Shell on Fluorescence Enhancement

Abstract

Silver nanocubes with silica shell could highly enhance the fluorescence intensity between the nanoparticles and metal layer because of their plasmonic coupling. They have potential applications in chemical and biological sensing.
