Generation and Coherent Detection of Broadband Terahertz Radiation in Phase-Matched Waveguides

Abstract

We describe novel waveguide devices that allows for broadband generation and coherent detection of THz radiation. We achieve a system with spectral content beyond 8 THz using <10 mW total average optical power.
