Characterization of a Plasmonic Absorber Structure for Infrared Detection Applications

Abstract

The optical characterization of a plasmonic absorber structure is presented. The effect of the dielectric medium on the resonance frequency is determined. The results show that the structure can be utilized for infrared sensing applications.
