Poly-L-lysine monolayer-modified microfiber Bragg grating biosensor for specific DNA detection

Abstract

A label-free biosensor based on functionalized microfiber Bragg grating for DNA hybridization is demonstrated. The sensor is functionalized by poly-L-lysine monolayer with specific DNA sequences to bind with high specificity to a given target.
