Abstract

A strain fiber laser sensor is demonstrated, which consists of a photonic crystal fiber in-line Mach-Zehnder interferometer as an optical filter and strain sensing head. Strain sensing sensitivity of 2.1 pm/µε, and high sensing quality are achieved.
