Metal Nanowire for Plasmonic Sensing

Abstract

Owing to remarkable properties for guiding light with tight confinement and strong evanescent fields, we investigate the waveguiding properties of single metal nanowires for plasmonic sensing, and report high-sensitive single nanowire gas sensors.
