Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensing for small molecules in biofluids

Abstract

The rapid, label-free and ideally point-of-care detection of therapeutic drugs and other metabolites is of high importance for improving treatment of patients. SPR sensors were developed on a portable instrument for methotrexate, testosterone and antibiotics.
