Optofluidic Wavelength Division Multiplexing for Single Biomolecule Sensing

Abstract

We discuss the use of multimode interferometer waveguides for spectrally and spatially multiplexed particle detection on optofluidic chips. Large signal-to-noise enhancements and differentiated detection of single influenza viruses are demonstrated.
