Temperature-Insensitive Refractive Index Fiber Laser Sensors Formed by PCF-Based Mach-Zehnder Interferometers

Abstract

A temperature-insensitive fiber ring laser sensor is fabricated by placing a PCF-based MZI formed by splicing a PCF between two SMFs with lateral offsets. The measurement accuracy is improved with a RI sensitivity of 52.35nm/RIU.
