Plasmonically enhanced fluorescence biosensors actuated by responsive hydrogels

Abstract

Actively tunable plasmonic materials were developed for advanced optical biosensors. They are composed of metallic nanostructures and responsive hydrogels and were tailored for plasmon-enhanced fluorescence analysis of trace amounts of analytes.
