Laser Doppler velocimeter applied to the measurement of the speed of rotation of a dispersing disk

Abstract

A disk is driven to rotate, Doppler laser velocimetry is applied to measure the tangential velocity of points on the disk from the analysis of the originated burst Doppler signal.
