Analysis of large bandwidths of Volume Phase grating and the derived equations of the bandwidths

Abstract

To expand the bandwidths with high diffraction efficiency of volume phase gratings, the combination of the rectangular type of refractive index distribution and larger refractive index modulation in the Bragg diffraction regime is important.
