Filter-coated Raman fiber bundle probe and deep neural networks for oral cancer diagnostics

Abstract

Fibers can be coated individually with optical filters and bundled to detect Raman spectrum with two excitation and detection channels. Deep neural networks purify Raman spectra and identify oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) with an accuracy of 95%.
