A pulsed laser spectrometer for volatile organic compound measurement

Abstract

An external cavity quantum cascade laser spectrometer combined with a hollow silica waveguide gas cell is described. Measurements of propane are made in the 10.2-11.6 µm region with a minimum detectable absorbance of 3.6×10-5.
