Optical phase-sensing for coherent beam combining via CMA-ES algorithm

Abstract

In this paper, a CMA-ES algorithm-based phase-sensing method is proposed and investigated. Thanks to the probability-based operational property of optimization conducted by the covariance matrix, the proposed method can yield excellent phase-sensing performances regardless of beam-combining parameters.
