Abstract

A novel concept of multi-wavelength source is presented. We have derived the theoretical model of the device which uses a semiconductor ring laser and a Michelson Interferometers, and simulated the performance by numerically solving the multimode rate equations of the system. 7 carriers are obtained, with flatness less than 5 dB.
