Abstract

Interstitial Ho:YAG laser induced lesions were investigated on liver, kidney and prostates of canines in dependency of different laser parameters. The treatment resulted in a cavity surrounded by a coagulation zone. First clinical experiences using this type of laser induced interstitial thermotherapy were presented.
