In-vivo diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) of oral mucosa of normal volunteers

Abstract

To non-invasively detect early epithelial cancers with DRS, we used a two-layered Monte Carlo method to quantify healthy oral mucosa. Results showed that our method is feasible to extract optical properties in vivo.
