Abstract
Light scattering in biological tissue originates from tissue inhomogeneities such as extracellular matrix, cells and cellular organelles. This translates into unique spectroscopic features of scattered light emerging from tissue. In this talk we will discuss how light scattering signatures could be used to detect dysplasia and early cancer in epithelial tissue.
