Head and Neck Cancer Evaluation via Transoral Robotic Surgery with Augmented Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging

Abstract

Fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIm) was integrated with a da Vinci Surgical System (Intuitive Surgical, Inc.) for exploration of head and neck cancer (N=25 patients). In vivo results showed FLIm distinguished between tumor and healthy tissue.
