Label-free multimodal intravascular optical imaging for cardiovascular disease

Abstract

We present multimodal intravascular optical imaging combining optical coherence tomography and fluorescence lifetime imaging. It can provide new opportunities to investigate vascular pathobiology and diagnose cardiovascular disease, by simultaneously visualizing plaque morphology and biochemical composition.
