Lesion Gap Assessment in Left Atrium by Spectroscopic Anatomical Mapping with Optically Integrated Catheter

Abstract

This study demonstrates the capability of NIRS catheter to recognize spatial gaps between lesions within left atrium in cardiac radiofrequency ablation. The optical properties of gaps were analyzed for classification with myocardium and lesion.
