Abstract

Compact, efficient sources of ultrashort, high repetition rate optical pulses are necessary for a variety of commercial applications. Previously, we have demonstrated the potential for shaping the intracavity modelocked spectrum of external cavity hybrid modelocked semiconductor diode lasers [1].
