Resonant Effect in Cooper Pair Breaking Rate in YBCO High Temperature Superconducting Films

Abstract

We have studied the temperature and photon energy dependence of the fast optical response signal which is related to Cooper pair breaking. Dramatic photon energy dependence of the pair breaking rate is observed, with a resonance around 1.5 eV.
