Phase-locking and -divergence in mutually trapped orthogonally polarized solitons

Abstract

We show numerically that a large phase-divergence and phase-locking can occur in mutually trapped orthogonally polarized spatial solitons in AlGaAs planar waveguides due to the presence of strong polarization coupling.
