Space-Time Correlated Foci of Exotic Spatially Chirped Femtosecond Beams

Abstract

Using custom wave propagation software developed in a Python3 framework, we analyze the foci of exotic spatially chirped beams and discuss their practical implementations. Focusing of these novel spatially chirped beams results in highly tunable on-axis pulse envelope velocities and interesting and potentially useful transverse spatial structures.
