Picosecond Pulses from Future Synchrotron-Radiation Sources

Abstract

Intense, quasi-coherent photon pulses around 10 picoseconds long will be available from future high-brightness synchrotron-radiation sources. Photon energies from the VUV to soft x-rays will be available.
