New Optical Design for A Jet Amplifier

Abstract

The possibility to amplify light pulses in the femtosecond regime, using a gain jet, in a multipass geometry has recently been demonstrated (1, 2). We propose a very simple, compact, all reflective optical design for a multipass amplifier which minimizes group velocity dispersion.
