Dynamics in Adsorbates by Picosecond Time Resolved Surface Second Harmonic Generation

Abstract

One interesting application of surface specific non linear optical signals is as a probe of ultrafast processes at interfaces. Here we report a time resolved study, by surface second harmonic generation, of the coverage and pump intensity (Ip) dependence of the ground state recovery (GSR) of malachite green (MG) adsorbed on quartz.
