Ultrafast Isomerization Dynamics of 11-cis-Iocked 8-membered Rhodopsin

Abstract

Femtosecond fluorescence spectroscopy of a rhodopsin analog revealed its extremely short lifetime (60 fs), suggesting coherent isomerization processes along C11-02 rotation.
