Abstract
Three-dimensional (3-D) shape measurements have been scientifically and practically attractive and several methods have been proposed. Most of the conventional methods require either rather complex image processing or some mechanism to scan the laser beam and/or delay time.[1,2] We have proposed a new method in which simultaneous 3-D imaging is possible without the need for scanning by means of conversion between the time and color axes mediated by the chirped pulse.[3] The applicability of this method was demonstrated by measuring highly reflecting gauge blocks. In this paper, we apply the method to measure the internal structure of the transmission objects and the surface structure of the diffusing objects.
