Abstract

Few-optical-cycle laser driven high-order harmonic spectral characteristics have been investigated both experimentally and theoretically. The measurements evidence peculiar features typical of quasi-single-cycle regime. A nonadiabatic three-dimensional numerical model is reported, in good agreement with experiments.
