Photoinduced dynamics in solid hydrogens

Abstract

We report on impurity (NO) Rydberg Photoexcitation in solid hydrogens, leading to electronic “bubble” formation. Results are discussed in hydrodynamic terms and seem to indicate that solid hydrogens behave like liquids on ultrashort time scales.
