Background-free THz imaging using interferometric tomography

Abstract

We report the implementation of time-domain interferometry in imaging with a terahertz ‘T-ray’ imaging system. Interferometric tomography provides the possibility of background-free imaging, with enhanced contrast and detectability of sub-wavelength features.
