Abstract
We predict that excitation of the disordered nanostructured systems with ultrashort pulses causes transient concentration of excitation energy in nanometer size spatial regions on the time scale of femtoseconds. Concurrently, giant aKosecond fluctuations of local fields occur within the optical period. We discuss manifestations of these effects and possible experiments.
